As a Santa Barbara native, both my daughter and I were born at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.

Having worked in the mental health field for over 25 years, many of them in Santa Barbara County, I am aware of resources and challenges we face in our community regarding mental health care.

In the mid-90s, I obtained two Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and Disability Studies, and a Masters of Science in Psychophysiology and Biofeedback. I worked as an adjunct professor of psychology and participated in the emerging field of autism treatment, ADHD neurofeedback research, and pain management education and treatment protocols.

My professional development continued with the completion of a degree in Drug and Alcohol Counseling. I then worked at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in their Psychiatric Services Department for nearly a decade.

I am a Certified Professional Coder, offering an increased understanding of insurance. This allows me to advocate for patients, enabling me to navigate the complexities of our healthcare system.

As Practice Manager, I work to create a safe and accessible environment in which our patients, staff, and providers can thrive.
